On the page, I will be outlining what I will be carrying on back my throughout my time
Above, you can see the backpack I plan on carrying with me the whole journey – Vic 40L Global Rucksack from Mountain Warehouse – which I chose for the following reasons:

- It is airline compatible, meaning I can take it with me as a carry-on
- The padded airmesh back will be comfortable as well as ventilated
- Side pockets allow easy access to my water bottle on one side, and options for the other.
- It has a built-in waterproof cover, for those days I need to carry it through torrential rain.
- I have 3 entries – one for clothes/packing cubes and laptop; one for my documents/wires; and another for my earphones and odd bits. 2 of these can also be padlocked
- There are padded waist belt, keeping my pack more secure on my back, and allowing for heavier loads to be carried comfortably.
- Last of all, it has a strap, meaning I can carry it over my shoulder should the straps be weighing me down.
